I am a Christian attorney who grew up in the Burlington area. After graduating high school, I lived, learned and worked all over the world, including Georgia, India, Scotland, and Oregon before returning to Wisconsin. I completed my BA in English in three years, graduating with honors. I earned my law degree from Lewis & Clark in Portland, Oregon where I focused on civil and human rights law. I worked with public defender's offices, the Oregon Justice Resource Center, and the Honorable Judge Dennis Graves until I returned to Wisconsin. I worked as a family and criminal law attorney in a firm in Rock County before moving back to Burlington to open my own law and mediation practice. In 2022, I began transferring my law firm to the Sun Prairie/Madison/Dane County area where we now live.
I am a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Association for Conflict Resolution. I have volunteered with and/or been on the board of directors for a number of non-profit organizations in Dane County and Racine County, including Friends of Recovery, the Boys & Girls Club of America, Love Incorporated, LifeBridge Church, and Gather & Give, Inc.
I grew up in a blended family, and am currently the mother of biological and step-children. Co-parenting with exes is a daily experience in our house, and we choose to seek and embrace unity, love and grace for everyone our kids call family. Co-parenting is not always easy, but then again, neither is parenting generally. We choose to work hard at it, and to do what is best for our kids. I seek to use these experiences to help my clients navigate their own family dynamics.
In my free time I love to visit with friends and family, travel, read and write, and watch our many children play many sports.
